Day of Thanksgiving #3

I'm thankful that we are able to see things from an eternal perspective and have hope instead of looking at things from an earthly perspective with the weight of the world's problems and hopelessness.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
¹⁶Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. ¹⁷For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. ¹⁸So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Lord, I pray that you help me to walk in your renewing of my mind and the reviving of my heart day by day. Give me the strength to not walk in the flesh that is wasting away and the discipline to keep my mind off momentary trouble and onto your eternal glory that far outweighs them all. Thank you that there is victory in Jesus.
